Predecessor is a free-to-play, third-person multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game developed by Omeda Studios and published by NetEase Games. It was released in early access on March 9, 2023, for Microsoft Windows and is scheduled for a full release later in 2023. The game is a spiritual successor to Paragon, a MOBA that was developed by Epic Games and released in 2016. Predecessor features many of the same characters and gameplay elements as Paragon, but with some key differences. One of the most notable differences is the addition of a new hero role, the Brawler. Brawlers are melee fighters who are designed to be played aggressively and can deal a lot of damage in a short amount of time.
